GitLab

GitLab is a web application for version control (using “Git”) for software projects. It offers various management and bug tracking functionalities.

You can edit program codes in a team, track changes, publish software codes or discuss them using the comment function. External project employees can only be included via PKnB (Personal Identifier, not Employee), as GitLab is accessible via the Internet.

Since GitLab is located on the servers of the IT service center in Bayreuth, you can be sure that your data is secure.
